We envision a world where digital trust is foundational. A world where individuals, organizations, and public institutions can rely on secure, ethical, and competent workforce to enable meaningful digital interactions.
Our goal is to help shape a future where:

  • Professionals in digital identity and trust services are recognized, supported, and continuously evolving.
  • Inclusion is encouraged, through the reduction of gender gap in job roles around digital identity.
  • The human capital contributes to building a stronger, more inclusive, and more resilient global digital trust ecosystem.

Who We Serve

We support professionals across the full spectrum of the digital identity and trust services ecosystem, spanning roles in identity validation, engineering, compliance, auditing, regulatory oversight, and policy development.

From WebPKI to decentralized and self-sovereign identity under regional and global regulatory frameworks and standards, our work is designed to meet the evolving needs of those shaping and securing trust in the digital world.

Why It Matters

By promoting professional excellence at the individual level, we empower organizations to achieve longer personnel retention, stronger accountability, and increased trustworthiness of key roles — ultimately contributing to more resilient and future-ready digital trust infrastructures.

Investing in professional excellence strengthens the entire ecosystem. It leads to more reliable service delivery, reduced compliance risk, longer personnel retention, and greater institutional trust, making human capital a strategic pillar of digital trust.

The Digital Trust Center of Excellence (DTCoE) was founded in response to a growing, unaddressed need: the widening gap between the increasing complexity of digital identity and trust services and the availability of skilled, competent professionals to support it. DTCoE operates independently and transparently, guided by principles of vendor neutrality, scientific rigor, and a clear public-interest orientation.

Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board is being formulated and will be updated soon.
