Nikos Soumelidis is the Co-Founder of the Digital Trust Center of Excellence and a Lead ETSI/ESI Auditor with more than a decade of experience in ICT standards compliance and accredited conformity assessments of Qualified Trust Service Providers.
Serving as Director of Certifications within accredited conformity assessment bodies, he has led complex QTSP assessments under eIDAS and has extensive experience with ISO/IEC 17024 and ISO/IEC 17065 schemes.
His work spans lead roles in eID scheme peer reviews and notifications, participation in ETSI ESI standardization task forces, and studies and co-authored reports on behalf of ENISA. Nikos operates at the interface of business and technology, bridging information security, software development, and conformity assessment.
